The California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA) is a non-profit organization comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors and paid support staff that works rigorously to 1) Ensure that Naturopathic Doctors continue to have the ability to practice medicine in the state of California, 2) Educate California and federal legislators on the safety, efficacy, and need for Naturopathic Medicine, 3) Raise public awareness of Naturopathic Medicine, 4) Form alliances with other health care providers to work towards a health care paradigm that offers patients the best possible care, and 5) Provide Naturopathic Doctors with continuing education opportunities that maintain a standard of excellence in Naturopathic Medical Practice.

Ensure that California Doctors Maintain Licensure - SB907 Sunset Review
Health care professions licensed in the state of California must undergo a review process every four years in order to maintain their right to continued licensure. This process of a licensing bill being up for review by the legislature is referred to as the Sunset Process. In order for Naturopathic Doctors to continue to have licensure in the state of California, our licensing bill must pass the sunset review process successfully. The CNDA is working very hard directly and through our wonderful lobbying team to ensure that state legislators who will be responsible for voting on maintaining our Naturopathic Practice Act during the Sunset Review process are well educated on the importance of maintaining licensure for Naturopathic Doctors in California.
