For Employers

Naturopathic medicine is a cost effective solution to keeping the workplace healthy and productive. Naturopathic doctors (NDs) are licensed primary care providers trained to diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic diseases using both conventional and natural medicine.

The CNDA has compiled information and resources for employers interested in:
  • Increasing the health care provider options available to employees,
  • Improving employee access to safe and effective chronic disease prevention and treatment,
  • Re-focusing health care on preventative and wellness medicine,
  • Reducing employee absenteeism, and
  • Increasing employee productivity.
If you or your company is interested in learning more about why and how to include naturopathic doctors in your business' wellness plans, we encourage you to invite a licensed naturopathic doctor representative from the CNDA to hold a meeting to explore the benefits and opportunities available to your company, employees and insurers through naturopathic medicine. We also have PowerPoint presentation PDF on naturopathic medicine publicly available for human resources departments, and a customizable .ppt version available by request. For the .ppt file or to schedule a meeting with a CNDA representative, contact Frances, CNDA Membership & Legislative Affairs Coordinator at coordinator@calnd.org
