Dr. Kambra Phoebus was born in California and spent her childhood in Puerto Rico. She returned to California to study at the University of California in Santa Cruz, where she first became interested in health and healing. After studying massage at Twin Lakes College of the Healing Arts, she volunteered at a START Physical Therapy clinic and did an internship at the Santa Cruz Women's Health Clinic. These experiences in helping the human body heal helped her realize there was much to learn about how healing happens. She heard about Naturopathic Medicine and realized that it was the most wholistic way to look at the human condition. She believes that humans, although polluting and damaging our environment, are also capable of tremendous healing and vibrant beauty. Upon visiting the National College of Naturopathic Medicine she knew this was her calling, and that through the teaching of natural medicine the world could become a better healthier place. While a student there she did extra training in Women's Medicine, Pediatrics and Botanical Medicine. She is currently practicing Wholistic Family Medicine in Ukiah, CA at the Ukiah Naturopathic Clinic. It is here where she hopes to bring about a bit of healing and continued beauty in the world.
