Don't miss important emails
Over the past year, CNDA has been making some important technology upgrades. We're confident these changes will help us communicate and serve you better; however, we recently learned that some members have not been receiving important CNDA emails and have missed important messages about legislation, events, and continuing education.
Below are helpful instructions and tips to ensure you're getting our emails.
The Short Version
- Update your membership information so we are connecting to the right address.
- Subscribe and update your email preferences so you are getting the right content.
- Whitelist our CNDA emails addresses. Add us as a trusted sender.
- Reach out if you need support. Our team is here to help.
The Detailed Instructions
The problem is that emails being sent from our new platform have been getting marked as spam, bouncing back or filed as a “promotion” that people then aren't seeing.
In order to get our emails back to the right place, you'll need to "teach" your email software to "trust" our CNDA emails in a process often called WHITE LISTING These step-by-step instructions for Yahoo!, Outlook, and Gmail can help make sure you don't miss important messages about upcoming legislation, events, and continuing education.
Don't forget to include:
- executive@calnd.org
- admin@calnd.org
- coordinator@calnd.org
- advocacy@calnd.org
But wait.... if people aren't getting emails, then how does this email help?
We've committed to taking additional steps to meet our member needs. Important CNDA updates will always be available on the CNDA website in addition to email sends. We will be adding this guidance to our member pages as well. We'll be doubling up by sharing announcements on social media in both our Members Only Facebook group and our publicly available main page.
In addition, we ask for your support.
- Share a link to this help web page.
- Encourage allies to sign up for emails.
- Donate to support our advocacy campaigns.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we work to adapt and grow along with our community.
