PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION
Dermatological conditions are among the most common reasons patients seek care, yet many naturopathic doctors receive relatively little formal training in dermatology. As a result, clinicians are often left wondering: What am I looking at? Can I manage this safely? Or is it time to refer? Building confidence in dermatologic assessment is an invaluable skill that strengthens both patient care and clinical decision-making.
Through high-quality clinical images, real patient cases, and interactive learning, participants will develop a practical framework for evaluating skin conditions commonly seen in naturopathic practice. The webinar covers essential dermatologic terminology, accurate lesion description and documentation, recognition of red flags that warrant referral, and evidence-informed clinical pearls that can be applied immediately in practice.
Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced clinician looking to strengthen your dermatology skills, this session will provide practical tools to improve your diagnostic confidence, enhance communication with patients and other healthcare providers, and help you navigate dermatologic presentations with greater clarity and confidence.
