NW66: The Most Common Nutrient Deficiency You've Never Heard Of: The Vital Role of Sulfur as a Daily Supplement
We consider the use of Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) essential in our practice. Dr. Stephanie Seneff, PhD, highlights this simple compound as potentially the most widespread nutrient deficiency you’ve never heard of. To deliver a continuous anti-inflammatory and antioxidant impact on connective and neurological tissue, consistent daily dosing is required. Given that sulfur is an essential nutrient, the daily provision of MSM through supplementation or diet is a fundamental component of effective naturopathic patient protocols.

Identify how toxic burden leads to sulfur depletion and subsequent glutathione (GSH) reduction.
Articulate the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) sulfur.
